Journeyman Financial Analyst

SRG is seeking an experienced Finance Analyst Journeyman in Financial Operations to be part of a team providing comprehensive financial management support services to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), supporting the five FBD branches: the Budget and Performance Branch, Financial Services Branch, Financial Management Branch, Internal Controls Branch, and the Systems and Information Sharing Branch.

The Finance Analyst will work within the Financial Services Branch, in support of the following:
· Evaluate, document, and improve current business processes and reporting.
· Remediate weaknesses in the processes, data and reporting in the current financial management systems such as the Federal Financial Management System (FFMS), WebView, and S&T’s Analytical Tracking System (STATS)
· Accept, establish and reconcile reimbursable agreements and accounts.
· Conduct on-going reviews of reimbursable accounts.
· Resolve financial discrepancies with trading partners.
· Close out reimbursable accounts.
· Develop reimbursable budget authority estimates.
· Maintain reimbursable accounting standard operating procedures.
